Fourthwalling: To an extent. Lizzie is part of a famous novel, after all, though she's an extremely minor character in it. One could recognize her from Alice in Wonderland, but I'd rather not have anyone be like 'Hey, you're from a video game!'
Offensive subjects (elaborate): For Lizzie, as a character, rape is an extremely offensive subject. She is, after all, a victim, and if the subject does come up, she'll probably excuse herself and leave the vicinity until that sort of talk has died down. She's also uncomfortable with manipulation of any sort.
